Philosophy
Designers understand users completely, and create wireframes, story boards, and design compositions, and developers bring designers’ vision to life in its complete form and beyond, by applying the engineering expertise and carrying out every details with great care and passion – the Utopia of a UI team.
In the UX world, many of us are both designers and developers (or at least we think we are). Some are first designers then started Javascript, others are first programmers then learned to use Photoshop. We take pride in our scientific minds, artsy eyes, and versatility in the community.
Emphasis
Discussions of user experience is fun and addictive. UXD2 will bring more fun to the discussion with low level experimental implementation. So often the fine traits in original design compositions are lost in the final implementations of the interface due to all kinds of excuses, you know what they are. As developers we should be passionate about replicating all details of original design and let it be our profession. I’ve found the feel of accomplishment after solving a puzzle too tasty to resist. This is what I hope this blog will bring to all of us.
